HW FOR WEEK OF OCT 27

Visit the site below on the Star Spangled Banner and it's history...Look at the links and study info carefully as you click on various points mentioned. Do a good job and really go through the site...Then, click on and read the top three links on the top left of the homepage - They are titled: The Story of the Flag, Preserving the Flag, and Solve the Mysteries. Answer the 3 questions on the Mystery section - this will cause you to do some of the work of an historian.
Also, after all your reading of the site, do the Test Your Knowledge section and record your answers for extra credit! Have fun with this!!

ps For those doing the presidential election predictions, they are due next Mon Nov 3...REalClearPolitics.com and Rasmussen.com are good sites for study, but there are many good ones if you google presidential polls...

HW for week of Oct 6 and 13th

Over the next two weeks read the articles about the American Revolution and the War of 1812 listed here - they can be found at the website address below... write a brief summary of the article - focus on the facts of the article and the personal accounts given...We will discuss these in class on Oct 20 - Your next quiz will be on Oct 27 - I will have a study review guide to give out on Oct 20 to help you study for the quiz.
